There are three official pathways, each designed for a different situation. Most students apply through their national UWC committee. Others apply through the Global Selection Programme if they can fully fund their studies. A third route exists for students who need financial support but do not have access to a national committee. All three routes lead to the same rigorous selection process. What differs is who runs it and what financial support is available.

If you are an Indian citizen, a Non-Resident Indian (NRI), or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), you can apply through UWC India, one of over 150 national committees worldwide. UWC India runs its own selection process and accepts applications for all 18 UWC colleges. Visit in.uwc.org to apply or find out more. If you are from a country with an active national committee, that route is almost always the right starting point. It gives you the best access to scholarship support and is the route through which the majority of UWC students are admitted globally.
